Terms of service
These are the terms for using BriefMe — the meeting agenda timer your assistant sets up. By creating or opening an agenda, you agree to them.

BriefMe stores meeting agendas built by your own AI assistant (or by hand on our home page), and runs a shared countdown timer against them. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use it — in most jurisdictions that means being at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
An agenda created without signing in has no password and no username. Anyone with the edit link can change and run the agenda — the link itself is what proves ownership, in your browser or anyone else's. Keeping that link private is your responsibility; if you share it, you are sharing full control of the agenda along with it. Signing in and claiming an agenda to your account does not remove this — it adds account ownership on top of the same edit-token mechanism, so a lost link no longer means a lost agenda. If your account has an active Plus subscription, you must cancel it from the billing page before the account itself can be deleted.
An agenda nobody has claimed to an account is deleted 7 days after it was created — or, if it was released back from an account, 7 days after its release. Once that happens, or if you simply lose the edit link before then, the agenda cannot be recovered — we do not restore individual agendas from our routine backups (which are themselves retained for up to 30 days), and we cannot identify "your" agenda among anonymous ones without the token that names it. If you want an agenda kept indefinitely, sign in and claim it before the 7 days run out; a free account can keep up to 3 agendas at a time, and Plus removes that limit.
You agree not to use BriefMe to store or display unlawful, infringing, abusive or harassing content, and not to attempt to circumvent the rate limits on our MCP connector endpoints or to access, read or modify an agenda you do not hold a valid share or edit token for.
You keep ownership of the agenda content you or your assistant create. By creating it here, you grant BriefMe the licence needed to store, process, and display that content back to you — and to anyone else you give the share link to, since showing the agenda to whoever holds that link is the product doing what it is built to do. We claim nothing beyond what running the service requires.
Anything you send us about the product is not confidential — whether posted to the public feedback board or emailed to us directly. BriefMe may use, implement or publish it in any way, with no obligation, no attribution and no payment to you for it. Don't send us feedback that contains something you need kept private.
BriefMe Plus is a paid subscription, billed through Stripe, at $5 per month or $49 per year. A Plus subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, not immediately — you keep Plus until then. Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, partial periods are not refunded.
A free-tier agenda may show a brief, skippable sponsor screen before the agenda loads, and during a scheduled break in a running meeting. Plus-owned agendas never show one. This is written as "may" because whether a sponsor screen actually appears on any given free agenda is a setting we control server-side and can turn on or off without changing these terms.
We may remove content, or suspend access to an agenda or an account, where we believe in good faith that it violates Section 4. We try to be proportionate about it, but we do not owe you advance notice before doing so.
BriefMe is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lignologic Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a meeting that ran long because a timer did. You agree to indemnify Lignologic Solutions LLC against claims arising from content you stored here or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of The State Of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive venue of the courts located there.
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we update this page in place and change the date at the top; the Last updated date at the top of this page is the record of when it last changed. Continuing to use BriefMe after a change means you accept the updated terms.
